Charlie — A Moment in Time is a multi-generational memoir and screenplay project following Charlie Martin and his family from the river towns of West Virginia, through World War II in the Pacific, into post-war America and China Lake, California, and across the generations that followed.

Built from family memory, historical research, photographs, and archival material, this project brings one American family’s story into conversation with the larger history that shaped it.
